Prophets of doom on the computer scene are nothing new... so dont think the scene could ever be just SHUT DOWN overnight... it could die a slow death, like it is now, and eventually be no more. We all know who the real crooks and thieves are out there, it's the greedy telecommunications corporations of the world who make you PAY to COMMUNICATE... It's really a ridiculous situation which people have just grown to accept. Think of how much you pay in taxes to your government, and the phone companies are well set up already, with existing lines etc... they're bloodsuckers!
