At this time i was asked if i would like a solictor and was read my rights by a woman Police constable. I did ask to see my legal advisor so they phoned for the solicitor that i had asked for, why i was waiting for him i was bamged up for over an hour and a half. At 11:45 my brief arrived and we had a private coversation, the brief advised i give all the information i got on these people that use the 0800 numbers i said i cannot divulge this information, at 12:00 we were joined by Ms sally Cooper and 2 Police Constables, and the interview started The first question asked was where did i get the 0800 numbers i was using i told them i got them from a friend who had a modem, they asked who the friend was but i said i cannot give out his name. i asked what offence have actually commited? the reply was using 0800 numbers to gain access to free calls which comes under " FRADULENT USE OF ELECTRICITY. " the invstigator went onto tell me in i was monitored using 3 different 0800 numbers from the 25 of febuary, i asked them do they know what numbers i had called she replyed it was all on computor as evidence! i was released on bail at 14:35 today and must reappear at penge police station on the Friday 28th april 95. to see if i will be charged. now all i can say is that i am leaving the modem scene for a while, i also suggest you all dont use any 0800 pbx numbers as they know all about it, i mean i have been phoning the states and europe and the far east so u can imagine what the bill i ran up, i just hope the bastards dont want the money for it, i was told by my breif i can expect to pay back all the money for the units i used and also a fine and criminal record. well at the end of the day has it been worth it " NO IT FUCKING AINT!
